C.S. Lewis once said people don't want to be taught so much as they want to remember.

That's how I think about teaching — less lecturing, more discovery.

My classes are hands-on. Real case studies, real projects, real assignments — social media strategy, persuasive speeches, even conflict resolution role-play. That's where my industry background actually shows up: I'm not teaching theory for its own sake. I'm teaching what I used to do for a living.

I also push students outside communication itself, into psychology, sociology, anthropology, media, and data science — because the best communicators borrow from everywhere. The goal isn't a student who's good in one format. It's a student who can adapt to any room, any channel, any audience.

Grades reflect that too. Projects, peer reviews, and reflective portfolios, not just tests, because how someone grows matters as much as what they memorize.
